Mamah & Pensiun

Mamah baru pensiun di November 2021 kemarin. Jadi waktu saya untuk mengamati Mamah tuh makin panjang.

Satu kebiasaan Mamah yang baru saya sadari adalah Mamah suka main bubble wrap bekas belanjaan online. Selama ini saya pikir cuma Aca yang suka, ternyata oh ternyata.

Saya juga baru tahu bahwa kalau pensiunan itu gak langsung terima tunjangannya sampai 4 bulan pasca pensiun. Untungnya kan kalau Mamah memang pandai nyimpan uang ya, jadi gak ada masalah walau punya anak yang gak pandai nyimpan uang ini.

Mamah juga banyak alokasi waktu buat ikut pengajian. Pengajian Kamis malam, Jumat siang, atau di tempat dulu dia belajar agama sebelum jadi PNS. She really lives her dream I guess, I am so envy.
Belakangan saya juga suka usahain waktu buat pergi pas weekend bareng Mamah. Entah buat sekadar makan atau massage di Healing Touch Nakamura. Pemicunya kayaknya saya tuh belum lama baru baca kutipan yang terus nyangkut di kepala:“The problem is you think you have time.”

Bali & Sunset

God is giving me blessing in disguise through the pandemic. Currently I am in Bali which may be impossible if it is not pandemic time. What am I doing? Working; doing vacation over the weekend; enjoying sunset mostly every day; washing my clothes on daily basis (say no to laundry hahaha); etc. I was also staying at Bali last year for several days. What I missed from Bali was the sunset moments. This year I will stay for a month to enjoy them as much as I can. And this is me walking on the beach for the sunset.

Talking About ERP and Career

On my first 5 years working career, I could only focus on giving solution once customer would like to implement Oracle (both E-Business Suite and Fusion Cloud). I felt like I had narrow horizon such I was too product-centric. That was why I took the leap to move to start up as analyst and product manager.

I was half-wrong in judgement. It's true that there are so many things to think about other than focusing on finishing the project as smooth as possible, as fast as possible. Moreover, I got much insights for whole business processes in a company, especially product development. Yet I actually can utilize my fundamental thinking as ERP consultant on my job on the start ups.

Combining the experiences here and there, I can understand why some company prefer to have low to medium features system since they may have strong or many people on their development team--or simply budget restriction. In contrast, I can also understand why some company prefer to have medium to high features system since they may have small technology team and optimize the advanced features embedded. 

This is also making me realized how I took for granted the standard features Oracle EBS/Fusion Cloud to customer, since develop your own system is another headache in terms of timeline, security, validation, or skill. And actually this is one of the reason I decide to go back to ERP career although I am being a presales consultant now instead of a functional consultant.

My First 1K Sales

 

I still remember the first time I sold my first item on online outlet. It was August 21, 2020, almost a year a ago. And today mark my first 1000 items sold. I cannot be happier.

I have been down lately because I got bad review for the first time. But looking back, I have been coming this far. All I can do is getting better and better every day.

New Reputation Badge for My Online Outlet

I unintentionally checked my email before went to bed today. It came from one of customer’s review on my online outlet at Tokopedia. Unexpectedly, I noticed that the reputation badge was having another additional bronze. So happy!!! I previously got the first bronze badge on May 2021, It took me almost 3 months to be here right now.

Actually, the first time I created the account was to sell my old comics. That’s why the name called preloved eventhough I only sell new items nowadays hahaha. After that I used the account to do some research for work as product manager on ecommerce—my previous job. I checked on their seller balance mechanism at that time. And I still remember the feeling when the first time I got my real order. It was 21 August 2020, I dropped the package by myself—before I understand courier pick up mechanism. I should be grateful.

Now, I should admit that my online outlet is one of my coping mechanism during this pandemic—besides yoga of course. I can distract myself while also generate money from this activity. Alhamdulillah.

Digital Banking: Line Bank - KEB Hana Bank

I have opened new bank account on Line Bank last day of the last month. Previously, I have seen their cute debit card design from one of my friend’s IG story. Yet I have not been interested before.

One day, I did not remember why, I decided to register and opened the bank account. I appreciate their seamless process. The video call verification was in queue, but I was totally fine. I would like to say the user experience is quite genius for letting me know my queue number. I somewhat could monitor my progress. Besides, I thought that they have standard SLA for completing the process under 1 minute. Super fast.

The best part of it is I can open time deposit with “small” amount (IDR 1 billion), with a competitive 4.5% interest rate. I can easily manage It on my own. In addition, I somehow get motivated since I can set the time deposit like milestones. Everytime I get IDR 1 billion revenue from my side hustle, I put it on the time deposit. Like a series of bonds, I set a certain code convention—please don’t mind my consultant approach on some things in my life hahaha.

P.S. I actually missed one of great promo they offer. It is to put minimum IDR 500.000 into the balance on the first 7 days of calendar after you open the account. Keep the balance there in order to get IDR 150.000 cashback. I am too eager to put the money on the time deposit. It’s okay, that’s not my piece of cake. Cheer up myself.

Yoga

I used to be not a fan of yoga. But during pandemic era like now, yoga is my best choice of doing sport. I have tried everything from morning walk, cycling, and yoga. I finally concluded that I enjoy yoga more, compared to the rest options.

I have never thought that I will put yoga as my daily rotine or give a serious thought about It. Yet turned out,  I have  bought proper yoga clothes and yoga mat. I also have subscribed alomoves and making Ashley Galvin as my favorite class instructor. I think I have to thank Ci Pat aka Patricia Stephanie to influence me on this.

She posted her yoga journey on instagram story in daily basis. I have seen her from the start untill I can clearly see her flexiblity. I also notice the progress on her toned arms and belly. The patience and consistency surely paid off on her case.

The picture was taken from my xiaomi lite wear application. I have to thank my ex team on Blibli who gave me the smartwatch as my farewell gift. It makes me motivated from time to time. I pray that they are safe and sane in this chaotic situation.

Belajar Lagi, Belajar Mulu, Belajar Terus

Waktu SMP dan SMA, punya kebiasaan buat duduk di tempat yang tinggi buat belajar persiapan ujian karena dipaksa Mamah. Semacam ritual. Kalo gak gitu rasanya belajar susah masuk.

Sekarang udah hampir 8 tahun kerja, bisa eik bilang kerjaan utama eik ya belajar. Apalagi eik baru kenalan sama sistem baru yang namanya Anaplan. Sebetulnya gak baru-baru amat sih eik kenalnya, waktu di Traveloka pun sudah pernah in touch (sebagai penyedia data). Bedanya kalo sekarang ya mesti jualan si Anaplan ini.

Alhamdulillah dikasih kepercayaan buat ikut training dan bahkan sertifikasi malah dari kantor. Yang mana mewajibkan eik buat banyak belajar dong ya supaya paham luar dalam. Dan beda dengan belajar Oracle, materi dari Anaplan tuh entah kenapa terasa banyak banget. Mungkin emang resource learningnya banyak atau mungkin karena area yang dipelajarinnya baru kali ya. Kalo Oracle sebelumnya, eik “cuma” mesti belajar ERP aka enterprise resource planning, sedangkan si Anaplan ini kan emang fokusnya CPM aka corporate performance management ya.

Nah, buat mengejar pemahaman ini eik mesti alokasi waktu cukup buat belajar kan. Jadinya nostalgia kayak lagi persiapan ujian waktu sekolah dulu gitu rasanya. Gak sabar deh buat ikutan terjun langsung di projek implementasinya biar gak tong kosong gitu pas jualan. It’s gonna be fun!

First Day (Again) at Metrodata

 Today is my first day (again) at Metrodata. I started the day by having 4.34 km walk for almost an hour. I still cannot login to my email. I have called the office for twice but no one answered. It's okay, Ci Chat is backed me up.
